I'll never forget how Souray went psycho when somebody went after Koivu one time. That guy paid severely.

SOuray is a good team mate but I agree with him wanting out of Edmonton, that's a scenario that is best for both parties. It's been rough for both sides.

I think who ever gets Souray is going to get a close to all-star D man for a few years.

How much does Souray have left in him? His body's worn down, he hasn't played full seasons the past few years, and the injuries came to his shoulders which likely have had a severe impact on his shot. I honestly don't think he will be effective.

You would be surprised how little of good shot depends on the upper body.

Heatley's shoulder injury sure seems to have affected his shooting. It all depends on the nature and extent of the injury and on how the rehab went. I'd love to have Souray from 3-4 years ago -- like others have said, the guy's a warrior. But then I think "Cheechoo" and I get understandably concerned.

yeah we don't need another buy out on our hands? has that even been done yet? I am sure no one has come to Murray looking for Cheechoo's services, they can off me 500K and I am sure I can score 5 goals a year, if I can make it to the net before the play goes the other way that is
