Cullen is fine, he's a forward playing the point on the PP, he's also tied for goal right now... be pretty stupid to let your leading goal scorer go.

I'm not actually serious... well except for the Spezza part....

I would take Spezza for Vinny so quick it wouldnt even be funny. That's a dream.

Spezza is worthless, if they got a 2nd and a prospect for him I would be surprised. Maybe Atlanta is desperate enough and having an extra 1st rounder something can be worked out.

no way you can not call Neil for that, wtf is he thinking

I don't care what he is thinking. I really don't. You want to give him a roughing, go right ahead, because that certainly was not a cross check. He barely tapped the guy. Letang collapsed like he was hit by a truck, and it was only Neil *stepping forward*, he wasn't even skating, just taking a step.

It's ridiculous, in light of what has been let go tonight, to call that a penalty, and the only thing worse was ignoring the obvious dive.

Cherry hates Ottawa but he's been on the Penguins' case all series long.

If you're Tampa, why not a Vinny+Marty for Spezz+Kovy - you unload two terrible contracts, you get a franchise play-maker 3 years younger for the same cash, and Kovy at 5m for 1 year versus Marty at 6.5 for 3 more....

Tampa is rebuilding, that last guy you want around anything considered a young core is Jason "give me the puck" Spezza. He would drag down that team very quickly. They have 2 SOLID pieces to build from.

Im looking at a team like Atlanta, Edmonton, maybe a St Louis. Atlanta would be the ideal place for him, a perenial loser for a life time loser. Again, if they could get NJ's 1st, Cormier, and maybe Klienenberg, I would be very happy.

If it's the thought of Tampa taking Spezza, sure, I get that. If its Ottawa replacing Spezza with Vinny, there is no way The Sens are that lucky.

Facepalm what?

Spezza for Lecavalier is basically a wash, and they wouldn't trade St. Louis (who is younger and better) for Kovalev.

I still think it was too many men. That puck was being passed to them by their own player, and there were clearly skates from 3 players on the ice, plus the three in their zone. Just cause he didn't play it didn't mean they didn't already have possession.
