guys this truely does suck but if we had kovalev and michalek we may have had a better chance the sens werent even expected to make the playoffs. a lot of playoff learning is going on for the young guys and this club is moving in the right direction

Agreed HH22000, We really needed Kovalev for this series.

Anyone think that Murray will be replaced before/after the draft? It might be time to pull an Anaheim and bring in a new GM after Murray has built the foundation.

Ya, our 7 million dollar center has 4 assists in 4 games, 0 goals in his last 12 2/3 playoff games. Those 4 assist go right out the frigging door based on what he did tonight. He killed his team, he burried any hope The Sens ever had. Good thing he is a "franchise player" eh.

Why? He gave his team every chance in the world to win. His player(s) let him down. If anything, it's time some of the core goes, namely Spezza.

I would take Spezza for Vinny so quick it wouldnt even be funny. That's a dream.

Spezza is worthless, if they got a 2nd and a prospect for him I would be surprised. Maybe Atlanta is desperate enough and having an extra 1st rounder something can be worked out.

If you're Tampa, why not a Vinny+Marty for Spezz+Kovy - you unload two terrible contracts, you get a franchise play-maker 3 years younger for the same cash, and Kovy at 5m for 1 year versus Marty at 6.5 for 3 more....
