As long as he aims for the post, he should be fine and dandy.

How many times will the media get a hard on when they say the word Crosby? Laugh1

I've said it before and I'll say it again: the thing that disappoints me the most is that we're letting a shaky goalie off the hook game in and game out. He hasn't had to make more than a couple of big saves the entire 3 games. Meanwhile, the Pens are camping out in front of Elliott and making him look like a rookie.

If we don't get to the net and get in Fleury's kitchen, we'll regret it for a long time. The next team to play the Pens will light him up like an X-mas tree - why don't we?

Alfredsson expected to play.

Cheechoo is for sure. Good, let's see what he can bring.

20+ shots isn't going to cut it. Fleury has enough time to finish a novel back there.

They need to pelt him with pucks all night long and not miss open nets and the like.

Clouston better tell Sutton not to shy away from hits, just don't get caught out of position.

And when is Volchenkov going to hit someone ? Is he already resigned that he's leaving the Sens ?

No surprise there. Even if he was injured and they let the media know he'd probably still find a way to get back into this series.

Yep. On 4th line with Z. Smith and Winch. Confirmed.

All of this needs to change.

And Spezza and Alfie need to wake the Diddle up.

Clouston needs to use home ice advantage and get Spezza away from Crosby. I know I know he needs to step up and play against the top guy blah blah blah. It's not working plain and simple. Adjust and move on. Spezza will still have Malkin's line to deal with anyway. Have Cullen taking the draws against Crosby and you'll see a much better game. Five man unit of A-Train, Phillips, Cullen, Fisher and Foligno (Or Kelly - I like SSF's thinking here) against whatever line they put together for Crosby. That should frustrate them enough to perhaps draw some penalties and then we can put our 40 + percent PP out there to expose MAF.

Some clean hits on Crosby and Malkin would be nice too. I wouldn't mind seeing Orpik on his Donkey tonight as well.

Hitting them at all would be nice. Outside of Karlsson and then the bogus charging call on Neil they haven't even breathed in either of those players direction never mind hit them.

As for Orpick? I don't care about that Donkey Chapeau. The guy I want on his Donkey on a regular basis is Gonchar. Knock him to the ice EVERY opportunity you get. By Opportunity I mean that it won't cost your team a chance going the other way.

More hits would be nice, but we need to be spending more time in their zone. Have Crosby & co. spend more time chasing pucks in their end not in ours.

Fleury needs to exposed and it'd be awesome if we could get him pulled.

And Clouston... please please change the matchups. It's not working, you've done some magic with matchups and line juggling before, now is the time.

I'm not putting any hope on Cheech but if he wants to be an NHL'er next season he will never get a better chance than this.

What are the chances Cheechoo uses this game as motivation to show what going to the AHL does to a guy's ego? All aboard the Cheechoo train tonight.

He's had plenty of motivation ever since he got here and I never got the sense he has an ego.

It's a question of whether his time in the AHL got him his confidence and scoring touch back. At the very least his attitude on and off the ice might give the team that little extra kick.

Did anyone see/read any info on how he was in Bingo ? I wonder if he's gotten his game back on track, I don't think CC would put him in if he didn't think he was up for it.
