Everyone else I'd consider fair game if a good deal comes along.

You should buy your own team and blow yourself up.

Elliott misplayed the puck and passed it to Talbot behind the net. He was good but he could've been better and we need better. He was clearly falling apart when Clouston yanked him.

As for Spezza's mistake (as stupid as it was) this team should be good and strong enough to bounce back when our of your star players fucks up. This team has shown little or no resilience in bouncing back. All it takes is one little thing and the wheels fall off the Sens. Every team makes mistakes at some point. If we were playing better and keeping the score closer we could've recovered and used that as a turning point. Instead this team folds like a cheap suit when something goes wrong.

Spezza's mistake isn't anything like Dan Boyle's (now that's a mistake that costs you a game).

The Crosby breakaway goal was a bad goal. Elliott...has been really, really disappointing to me - and I love him.

That said, Elliott's the least of our worries. This guy is a winner, he'll be great next year and he'll be great in the playoffs next year now that he's seen what goes on.

What we need is a capable back up because Leclaire's one good season was a fluke. We might as well have Andrew Raycroft backing up Elliott - at least he's making saves this year.

Diddle, I wish we had just traded Vermette for Lehner. I hope against hope that Melnyk will take the loss and allow Murray to waive Leclaire to Bingo so we can clear the salary, but I sincerely doubt he'd sign off on that.

Totally agree. The thing that drives me to want to break something is when people say that Crosby elevated his game and scored the big goal there when it was clearly a bad goal by Elliott.

Ummmm, it's worse! What Boyle did was an accident and probably wont happen again in the next 100 years. Spezza could do the same thing tomorrow night and not a single person who watched hockey would be shocked. It was selfish, stupid, carless, and immature. Boyle, it was bad luck and careless.

Boyle's mistake didnt burry his team for the series, Spezza's did. Also, considering Spezza has done the same thing time and time again, it makes it even worse!

Will Bryan Murray have the stones to trade Spezza? And if so, who could he possibly find to replace his offense? Be prepared, because this is the question that will be asked from now until training camp.

He's already paying to many guys to not be part of this organisation already.

Playoff offense or regualr season offense? Who's going to replace his big 50 points? Who's going to replace his 70 from the year before? Who knows but it's not a big deal. Who repalced Heatley's goals from last year? No on really but we made the playoffs didnt they.

Yes, it was a bad goal. Elliott's pooped the bed everywhere, but as I've said, he's young and he's a winner. He'll bounce back next year.

Both regular season and playoff. We need someone to replace his near PPG pace this year, yeah, So again, who's gonna replace our only center capable of any kind of offensive output? You take Spezza out of the lineup and teams lick their lips. Mike Fisher? No problem to contain him. Alfredsson? Old. Regin? Young. Michalek? Streaky.

We need an answer before Spezza is moved. No question, we go into next year with someone like Cullen replacing Spezza and we're dead.

WTF are you talking about? Saying Crosby scoring on a breakaway is a bad goal is a pretty sad comment. Best player on the planet coming down on Elliott, he scores, and it's a bad goal? What exactly is that based on?

As much as I hate to say it I think Alfie is running out of gas.

Based on that fact that I thought it was a stoppable shot. He didn't exactly roof that think top corner, he put it 5 hole on a shot that I didn't think should have gone in.

Spezza has 44 points in 44 playoff games. I get what he does wrong but his offense is important to the team. He was certainly directly responsible for one goal against but he also had a big role in the short-lived comeback attempt too.

Teams lick their lips? You're kidding right? The best hockey The Sens play is without Spezza.

Only lip licking I saw was The Pens waiting for a pass from Spezza at the blueline. You have a pretty warpped view on Spezza and what he brings. Someone else gets those mins and plays a more responsible game and puts up a little less.

Spezza isnt a special player, he's a border line, first line center who wouldnt be missed much, if at all in Ottawa.
