Just how good, how quick is Karlsson becoming!? Elliott...wow. I'm stunned we won, I thought our goose was cooked in OT. Incredible victory...so awesome.

No one tops Rick Jeanerette. It's funny when him and Harry Neale go at it.wprager wrote:Dash wrote:Could Bob Cole be more of a brown noser?
Unfortunately, yes, he can. It's a rare gift.

I blame you for lack of faith

What makes that figure even more stupid is that almost none of it was on the powerplay.
wprager wrote:asq2 wrote:3-on-3 overtime, franchise record on the line, Karlsson is on the ice.
Well it's 4 on 4 and he's the fastest skating defenseman they've got. It's almost like playing with a 4th forward but he's quick enough to get back and start skating backwards at his blue line.

Neely's whole point is that scoring isn't everything, and that people who think Spezza is "elite" and "essential to this team" spend too much time reading stats and not enough time watching games.
Try again.

So is the next game Buffalo? I apologize I won't be able represent... I have class until 8:45 on Wednesdays.
rooneypoo wrote:wprager wrote:The CBC 3 stars were very unoriginal: the GWG scorer and the two goalies. What about Karlsson? This 19 year old kid was out to start the OT and then ended it with a beauty pass (his second assist of the game?)
I agree, Karlsson was standout. Far and away our best offensive D at the moment. Looking more confident and creating more each and every day.

No he was right it was 3 on 3, both teams a player in the box. Other then that bang on analyst

Geez, that's what I thought too. A few days ago another player took a puck and broke his fibula, and when I saw the replay of Foligno I swwear I had a flashback.
Well, we've got Dono and Winch licking their lips now.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to correct him. I actually meant more when Karlsson started the OT. It makes sense because int hat situation (4 on 4) with more room out there you want your fastest players (and I *really* cannot explain why Martin had Gill out there). So when it was 3-on-3 it makes it even more important to have speed out there.
