Great stuff. It would be a minor miracle if Brodeur played like this for even one more game, but it's really nice for him - and for us - right now.

Brodeur is now 2-0 with a 0.50 GAA and .980 save% with 1 SO.
Could you imagine if we had a goaltender playing consistently like that?

This was huge.”

Been there done that. Spezza and Kuba for Phaneuf and Mikael Backlund.
Despite Dion's slide, he'd still be a force on our blueline. I'm also ready to practically give Kuba away.

I'd be comfortable with that but I think we would need to take on some more salary from Calgary.
MurderOnIce wrote:LeClaire or Elliot better friggin play. They are not going to get better by avoiding the ice. Get out there and stop the puck. Do your job don't worry about anything else. Same can be said to every Senator. Do your own job. Dropping your head down as soon as a bad goal goes in does nothing for anyone other than to perpetuate losing. Take care of your own yard because there is a lot of blame to go around. Goalies are letting in bad goals sure but they can't win games in which we score one goal. So scorers score, grinders, grind, fighters fight, defence play defence and everybody shut up and stop pointing fingers.

I'd start Brodeur personally.

Rangers 9 - 0
Brodeur finally gets pulled after 6 goals and a flu ridden Elliott allows another 3.
Ottawa has 3 quality scoring chances all game with King Hank obviously stopping everything.
Shot count 55 to 18 in favour of the Rangers. Even Redden gets a goal.

Ouch. I think the Sens win this one. 3-2 or 2-1

My first thought that it was b.s. on both parts. I think they're embarfassed that they got their coach fired.
Edit: Seriously that's right up there with the Bongo Sens.
