It's funny, but the guys who are Dung on the most by us and the media are the ones that actually look like they give a Dung and have the numbers to back it up.

Campoli and Karlsson were a good pairing against Carolina and despite being a -2, Campoli led the D with 4 shots last night. Choochoo had one of the best chances of the game and he works his Donkey off, game in, game out.

The whole situation pisses me off so much all I dare do is laugh.

That was Atlanta's first regulation win in 20 games...

Your Avatar looks to have possibly gotten Kuba back for Thursday. Is that good or bad?

With such injuries, we're finding out what the rest of the team is made of. During times like this it's up to the 2nd-3rd liners to step up, and they really haven't.

Hopefully Murray is building a list of people to ship out of town in the off season.

Ottawa is great for that. Todd White's first goal in 34 games, Boulton's 2nd goal of the season and 1st career Power play goal. Little's 1st goal in a while as well.

I have very little bad to say about our D. Our "best" forwards are the ones that need to get their act together.

Sure.

There's no Diddling excuse for this. Losing would be fine but getting brutally buggered by the likes of Atlanta and Carolina is utterly unacceptable.

How about Fisher and Kovalev? Foligno, Regin and Shannon all need to step up. Shannon did briefly and Regin just got a goal so good on them for that I guess. Neil, Ruutu and Kelly are all playing well so no complaints there.

Indeed. When our stars go down... they have to step up... Fisher, Kovalev, Foligno, Kelly, Shannon, Regin, Neil, Ruutu... they all do. We haven't really seen that at all, hence our poor predicament.

No one will ever call out Fisher, so just forget about that. Besides, he calls the shots, not the coach.

Regin got 6 shots on goal and has been the best center on this team despite being criticized by the likes of Garrioch in making a case for Kelly...

Shannon is a midget and a skinny one at that. Foligno has shown me what he is, trade bait. Nothing more.

I can't fault Kelly, Ruutu and Neil. Ruutu is having a career year in goals and points, Kelly started slow but he's doing well. Neil is playing over his head as well.

The guys that really need to shine are Kovalev and Fisher. To a lesser extent Foligno, Shannon and Regin too though.

It's hard to blame them. We are asking 2nd line players to produce like 1st line players, while also playing against the top shutdown pair of teams now. And this is while someone like Fisher was already producing at stronger pace than he's known for.

Is it hard to blame the for forgetting how to back-check or how to play in their own zone?

I can put up with incapable, but the last few games they have looked unwilling. It doesn't take much skill to run around and hit a few people -- case in point, Schubert. Not that I agree with what he did, but this is a guy we let go for nothing and he is at least trying to do something. How is the Cheech, anyway? Someone said he came back?

Can you believe he came back? Not that I wish him any ill-will, but for him to pop back into a game, but Alfie, Spezza and Michalek to be out long term is a hockey god starting to play with us a little.
