Nothing up front, but they have a glut of great players at forward, so they could dip into that as well.

I wouldn't do that if I were them. Sharp is a phenomenal player. No deal.

To be honest if Washington thought they can go the distance I think it would be Alzner and a 1st for Atrain. The 1st would be a low 1st if Washington went the distance so it would be worth it for them.

Plusieurs rumeurs émanant de Pittsburgh racontent que les Penguins seraient intéressés à l'attaquant des Islanders de New York, Doug Weight.
Le vétéran est le meilleur ami de Bill Guérin et ce dernier tenterait de convaincre son directeur général, Ray Shero, d'aller chercher Weight en vue des séries éliminatoires.
L'Américain pourrait s'avérer une bonne acquisition pour les Penguins. Les Hurricanes étaient allés le chercher en 2006 tout juste avant les séries. Résultat? Les Canes avaient gagné la Coupe Stanley cette année-là.
Toutefois, Weight n'est plus le joueur qu'il était. En 17 matchs, il a amassé 8 passes, n'a inscrit aucun but et présenté un différentiel de +1.

Selon le Ottawa Sun, le directeur-général des Sénateurs d’Ottawa, Bryan Murray, veut absolument aller chercher un centre avant la date limite des transactions.
Avec la blessure de Jason Spezza (blessé jusqu'à la mi-février) et l'équipe qui n'arrive plus à gagner, Murray n'a plus le choix: il doit trouver un joueur de centre capable de joueur sur l'un des deux premiers trios.
Les noms de Andrew Cogliano et Robert Nilsson circulent présentement à Ottawa.
Matt Cullen des Hurricanes de la Caroline pourrait aussi être un bon candidat.

Problem is, A-Train is a UFA and that lowers the value quite a bit, and Alzner is a 5th overall pick so 2 1st rounders is way too much for A-Train.

I would totally add a 2nd rounder for Alzner. Can you imagine our top 4 with Alzner, COwen, Karlsson and Philips?
