Filatov to Ottawa?

To OTT: Sharp, Gilbert, MSP, Omark, Plante, Peckham, 6-1st rounders

To EDM: Spezza, Buff

To CHI: Foligno, Reddox

Haha, why? I have players I like and players I dont. Versteeg is defently one of those players. He got a contract off of playing with Toews and Kane, since he's been taking off that line or used elsewhere, he hasnt done jack really. I rip on Spezza for the same reason, played with two guys that were better then him that has made him look a lot better then he truly is.

A lot of guys like that in The NHL. Versteeg would be Cheechoo v2 without that never say die work ethic.

No I see your point about not liking Versteeg, it's just the way you say it, sounds like something very personnal

Trying to think of some others... not a big Hemsky fan, Priesing (but thats obvious now), I think Thornton is over rated, dont care how many points he has(Marleau is who makes that team go and always has), there are some others Im sure.

just for the record hockey futures puts nikita filatov as 3rd in top 50 prospects... right after tavares and hedman. and before bogosian and duschene... puts it into perspective... he aint gonna come cheap.

I wouldn't give them too much credence.

Also, Bogosian and Duchene aren't in Russia right now and haven't had issues with their respective head coaches.

exactly. what might they want. i'm sure they'd love to ask for cowan or karlsson but that price is way to high(no matter what HF says) would they take wiercioch?(i'd part with him but with conditional insurance if filatov didn't come back)

btw does anybody have the phonetic spelling on wiercioch? i sound like a klingon when ever i try to pronounce his name.

I think it is Weir (like Mike Weir) - Kosh (like Osh Kosh), or Kosh (as in Kosher).
