Wow. I thought it was because of cut backs. I guess they just thought he sucked? I personally didn't care one way or the other about Phil. I tried to avoid listening to that show.

Simpson was already there doing fill-in stuff. He sounds a lot more polished than Phil "Rank Amateur" Melanson. Trust me.

Yeah Simpson has been pretty good in what he's done lately.

It's all in one market: Ottawa. From what I can tell this Regional VP is a recent hire so I guess he wants to make his mark. Best way for these guys to advance is to f**k over a few employees. Beer

Greco stays?

Greco probably is working for free; it's also free advertisement right for his "program".

As soon as the words "up next, Tony Greco" are read, I immediately turn the dial. If anyone else is like me that can't be good for bidness.

Even at that Greco still get's his plug. I bet you're thinking I gotta get down and Greco-size as soon as you hear it aren't you? It's okay if you admit it. Sarcasm

As much as I hate for anyone to lose their job, so glad he is gone.

No idea what an Oiler's fan is doing on an Ottawa radio show anyway. I didn't find him amusing at all, he doesn't seem to know much about hockey or sports.

He's not an Oilers fan. He's a Sens fan, just knows Gretzky. And since when did sports knowledge become a pre-requisite for being on a Sports Radio Talk Show Host? In Ottawa.

Jimbo-tron is the robot-sounding one. What's the other one, where they had random clips of Jungle that the producer was inserting into the audio?

Shows how essential he was to the show when he could be effectively replaced by Jim-O-Matic.

Not today, he isn't. Terry Marcotte was hosting with Murray Wilson.
