Met him once at a bar in Toronto (why are so many of my hockey stories in a bar?) and he was a real quiet guy. While alot of the players were living the VIP life in there, Yashin took a few minuits to talk to me, and he was one of the nicer players I've met. Don't wanna sound cliche, but a real down to earth guy. He paid for my drink too.
I have to agree with Neely here.
Yup, there is a while bunch of BS to see through when it comes to professional athletes. People in Ottawa, it seems, have a real hard time seperating real life with the actual person they just see and hear about on TV.
Yashin was a good guy, gave a lot of time and money to the Ottawa community, and he played well for the Sens when he wore the uniform. I dont think he was ever a guy that a team should be built around, but at one point he might have been the best player the Sens ever had, like it or not.

Who's that girl? Is that Alt? Because...the picture posted before made her look like the Blair Witch, these pics make her look nice.

I agree with you for the most part but the best player ever to wear a Sens uni will always be Alfredsson until someone better comes along... Yashin may have been the best player on the team at the time when he got 94 pts or when he scored the game winner against Jersey, not 'the best player the Sens ever had' though.

Alfi is my fav Sen of all time and he is defently the best Senator of all time. I misspoke a bit I think, what I ment to say he is might have been the most tallented player the Sens have ever had along with having, IMO the best season any Ottawa Senator has ever had.
94 points and 44 goals when it was done is easily a 100 point season today with 50 goals. Yashin was the player who was front and cetner when the Sens became the real deal. Alfi is the best Senator of all time, but Yashin is def right there.

Make up does wonders, so do older photos... trust me she is more like column 'a' than 'b' right about now. She was born in 1960 which puts her at 49 this year...

Jennifer Anniston
Vanessa Marcil
Gabriel Anwar
Paula Marshall
Connie Britton
Salma Hayek
The combination of father time and bad plastic surgery have robbed her of what she had and personally I was not a fan to begin with...
But women come in all shapes and sizes... whatever turns your own crank is what matters most.
BTW too bad about Farrah, she was ultra hot, an icon... cancer is a terrible thing.
