Whether its a crap call or not he isnt going to take it back so he should just go to the box and shut the diddle up

Hard to blame that call on Lee - it's a play defencemen are taught and it's practiced every game and never called. He probably didn't say anything more than most NHLer's - but he's a rookie and the ref probably didn't want to hear it from him.

The NHL needs to come up with a system to hold refs accountable. Something like a $50 fine for a terrible call (judged by a panel). The fines go into a pool and the money paid out at the end of the year - the ref with least terrible calls gets the most, etc.

Amazing how the hit from behind on Shannon is 2 minutes and a game in game out defensive play gets 4 minutes. Just disgusting - and I hope Clouston doesn't sit Lee for it.

jesus! It's almost hard not to be mad at Lee; but upon more reflection, these refs are just TERRIBLE!!!
