I think Hammond might get a game here... would be nice to give a guy a start all things considered.

Maybe they are getting Lehner to drum up some better offers for himself with his fine play, of late?

Hopefully they start to make the right deals soon and start selling.

Time for murry to go all in!!!!

I'll admit that I think it's time to make a huge trade - like his nephew just did.

Y'know one guy I'd love to take from the Leafs (or in free agency this summer) is Cody Franson, but again that's another RD.

Lehner is 7-1 (including last night) when facing 35+ shots.

Was it confirmed?

Realistically, I think we just move out older players for picks and hope we can use those picks for some real trades come June. We just don't have the ammo right now for a trade that would rival what we saw today.

Sadly SSF analysis is correct. Only part I disagree with is no ammo... I think if San Jose is super serious about winning this year, at all costs, they make a move for Anderson.

Probably an off-season move, yeah. I think we have the ammo though, from 2 2nds, to Puempel (Armia), to even our 1st if the player is good enough. We have a lot of ammo IMO.

That's the one thing we have that could garner a real good return - a quality goalie. Unfortunately these trades are hard to make...you see more of stuff like what Minnesota did...trade for a potentially undervalued guy (Dubnyk) and hope for the best.

Was gonna edit but in slightly different way "unless a playoff team feels they need a goalie and decides to pay a king's ransom for one."

And I will repeat that Hertl would be a nice start from San Jose.

I think a Hertl for Anderson trade would make a lot of sense for both teams. 6'2, 210lb LH center (Sens need a guy like this in the worst way) for a legit #1 goaltender who has always been great in the playoffs.

There doesn't have to be anything else included in that deal other than maybe something like Legwand and Niemi going back and forth to simply even things out. We will see if Wilson has the balls to do it, there's a guy who's only big move at the deadline one year was getting Campbell.

it's now or never for the Sharks.

I'd "jump" for that guy. Ottawa Senators (present and past) TIDBITS & QUICK HITS! - Page 2 164414

Should be a good test for the youngster. Our players will have to be extra vigilant against the notoriously dirty Penguins, led by Crybaby Crysby.

'bout time Mister Lernerd got a shot!

The Sharks may need a goalie just to get to the playoffs... Kings being 4 points back with 2 games in hand.
