After reading that Swedish article, Petersson certainly isn't playing there again and probably our other Swedish prospects if they talk to him (or read the article) lol.

Funny how Rundblad seems OK with playing in Portland but balked at playing in Bingo. Maybe he didn't mind the AHL, just didn't want to play in a hole like Binghamton.

Just because Murray was willing to get him for Heatley doesn't mean he still wants him, all he has to do is call up his brother Terry who can probably list all sorts of reasons why we should stay the hell away.

I'd rather run with what we have now, maybe make a depth trade. Do it for Bingo even, they need help badly.

Who said they wanted him? I remember NEELY, a couple of years ago, saying you can't teach size. But has anyone really thought seriously about getting him now?

Okay, Rundblad never balked at playing in Bingo. Complete BS rumour that was never actually proven. Literally started out of nothing.

Secondly, Petersson will play AHL for as long as he is under contract with the Senators, or for as long as they ask him to until he gets called up. He will play wherever they play him.

Cussing right he will if he ever wants a chance to make the NHL.

Nice trade. Dominic Moore to San Jose for a 2nd, Tampa also includes a 7th.

Niklas Grossman to Philly for a 2nd and 3rd. Good trade for Philly, not sure what Stars were thinking. Grossman is a good player, no?

Hmmm, Philly gives up a 2nd and a 3rd for Grossman. That's a hefty price for a pending UFA.

On the other side, San Jose gives up a 2nd for Moore and a 7th.

Cash.

He's usually up there in both hits and blocked shots. Nice player.

He's like a young Mike Sillinger. That's not a knock.

Brutal. Horrible way to run a franchise IMO. Teams that don't pay to keep good players won't get much better.

It's just as much BS to suggest that it's false when you have no information one way or the other as it is to say it's true with no information. Just sayin'.

How close is LA to landing Nash - and will they trade JJ to do it? I think where there's a ton of smoke, there's some fire on this one.

Why is Tuomo Ruutu "off the market" just because he has an injury? 3 week injury isn't a big deal IMO, and he would probably come cheaper now. Or is that why he would be off the market, because Carolina doesn't want to trade him for peanuts?

I just watched the latest "Insider Trading." 2nd + prospect already "on the table" for Grabovski, according to Jurke mouthpiece, Darren Dreger. He goes on to say that Jurke will likely hold out for a 1st. Genius.

No idea what Dreger meant...thought it odd too.
