Thought I'd get the ball rolling for tonight's this afternoon's game vs the Jets.

Note that the game is on at 4pm EST on CBC, and it's from St. John's, NFLD.

Here are the Sens forward lines (rest to be added later):

Greening-Zibanejad-Alfredsson
Hoffman-Locke-Butler
Dziurzynski-Smith-Neil
Parrish-Grant-Cowick

Cowen-Karlsson
Phillips-Rundblad
Gryba-Carkner

Auld will play the whole game.

Not much there to be excited about forward-wise, other than Z-Bad and Greening. No word on Winnipeg's lineup yet..to be added soon.

He won a Hockeyville contest with his story, and got to meet Alfredsson this morning: http://twitpic.com/6qxxce

At least they're playing Alfie...not sure if that appeals to the folks on the Rock

Greening is playing, pretty much all that matter.

With all due respect to Greening, his only appeal at this point is the one for hometown boy, which is fine. But as far as star power, its still one more star player than last year's Kraft hockeyville (EDIT: forgot karlsson).

On another note, I think this is the 3rd time the sens have played in a kraft hockeyville game (not sure how many there have been). Wonder how that stacks up against other Canadian squads but I'd bet that's the most.

Sens need a broader appeal to Canadians and Kraft HOckeyville is a good way to do it.

The Alfie's appeal is universal. He's like The Beatles and Elvis rolled into one.

Agreed. And it would help immensely if their AHL franchise was somewhere in Ontario (say Kingston) or in Quebec nearby. Imagine how much more of a following they would have if they won the calder in Canada...no disrespect to bingo fans of course. They're great but they do nothing to increase our appeal in Canada

Gryba gets his first appearance... but on his off-side. Interesting.

If you're on Rogers, they have a new service where you can access and set your PVR on the internet. You can't watch anything, but you can set it to record. I haven't looked into myself, but I know it's available.

I am with Rogers and looked to see if they had something like this - I couldn't find anything.

If it exists and someone is familiar with it I'd love to know how it works.
