Agreed. If Boston parts with the Leafs pick, they could easily draft Dougie Hamilton or Duncan Siemens to replace Bogosian. If don't think Bogosian is going anywhere for a package of pieces. They'll be looking for quality.

I don't see how that stops him from still being traded and then signing back with us in the off-season. But each player does play to his own beat and that might not sit well with phillips.

Either sign this guy to an extension or trade him. Simple. But as I mentioned before, if phillips is going only for a 2nd rounder, then Diddle it. Sign him long term and end the speculation. 2nd round pick isn't worth it anymore. Chris kelly has brought that to us already, and we DO need some veteran presence.

If so then MGT must want him here to because if not why would he diddle the team over and just walk for nothing in the off season?

If that's true, then I hope he's willing to take a LOT less in salary the next couple of years. Makes me shake my head a bit though.

I would like a little bit of context to Phillip's statement. That statement isn't anything different than what he's been saying over the last month when questioned about rumours of a potential trade. Sure, he may want to stay but when push comes to shove does he waive his NTC when the time comes?
