Yeah I was just about to say. No Spezza, and suddenly Heatley looks like a beast on the puck.

Dude, Heatley is a wya better player when he controls the puck and can be creative. His owncreativity is limited when he plays with Spezza because he is out there for a single purpose basically, one timers or rebounds.

is it me or has Vermette gotten worse? he has ZERO Scoring touch...ZERO!!!

and what we need to do is bring in another sniper for Spezza and get heatley AWAY from him! Heater's fine without him!

I thought Spezza really turned it on in that third even though he was somewhat responsible for Sjostrom's goal.

Haha, ive only been saying that for a year, but hey haha. Who knows what to do with Spezza.

Bell had a nice game, way better than Schubert.

Vermette will end up in St Louis, they need some help down the middle right now.

Him and Heatley were both standing around there, cant put that all on 19.

First, with the exception of Spezza, I disagree completely with the shootout selection. Why not Zubov? Why not McAmmond who's an excellent sniper in the shootout?

Second, Ruutu is an idiot more often than not. Why does he do half the things that he does? That extra shot was really unnecessary, in a shootout of all places. He's giving Ottawa a bad rap.

Vermette is useless. For those who talk about Spezza, take a look at this guy. Spezza is exponentially better than Vermette, and anything negative you say about Spezza can be said about Vermette.

Fisher, as well liked off the ice, as much as all the women love this guy, as much of a Christian he is, blah blah blah, the guy is injury prone, slightly overpaid for what he brings, and underproducing. Sometimes injuries are unpreventable but some people just can't stay healthy, and he's one of them.

I dont think anyone is praising Vermette, but he was getting chances all game. Finish or not.

Ruutu has been sucessful in the shootout before and isnt a bad choice. Fisher is a band-aid, everyone knows that.

I dont think anyone has ever questioned if Spezza is a better player than Vermette, lol, so I dont get your point there.

I agree. I called Fisher injury prone and someone jumped on me for it. I have yet to see this guy go half a season without being injured. Ruutu is awesome. He is trying to stir things up and get some energy into this crew. I hope he makes other teams hate playing us because that is why he is there. Ottawa could handle having a little bit more of an edgy side. Spezza is exponentially better but he should be considering his contract is exponentially bigger than Vermette's.

Hahaha, that actually made me laugh out loud.

I loved what Ruutu did hahaha, why the hell not do that, whats he gonna get a penalty? He wont be suspended, lol, good for him.

At least we have a goaltender finally. And he's young enough to do this for a lot longer.

Not to be an arse-hole, but if Fisher has to be injured...it would be much better from our POV if it was a season ender. That would give us absurd amounts of cap space.

No, I'm just sick of people Dung on Spezza's play. I know there are people that do the same about Vermette as well, and rightfully so. Spezza can be the best player out there and it's still not enough for some of you.

I'll just agree to disagree with you on Ruutu. If you want to take a chance by putting an agitator in the shootout when the other team is sending out snipers and danglers, then you deserve to lose. It's Dung.

I hate to criticize the coaching, but that was just a bad choice. If anyone saw the skills competition then they'd agree that we should send Volchenkov out there before Ruutu.
