Alfi is head and shoulders the best player on this team, its not even close.

Pretty good. On a scale of 1 to 10, he's 11.

??? Granted he's not having a 5-point night, but where's the hate for Heatley? He gets an assist because Alfie does all the work, but he's had at least two Spezza-worthy giveaways that I saw (and I missed most of the first period). We're not going to go from 4 goals in 4 games (two of them when it was too late to matter) to being the toas of the town.

This is why Heatley gets the binifit of the doubt here. We have all seen what he does when he is away from Spezza, he can control the game as well as be a constant threat to score. He makes smarter decisions away from the puck and with it for the most part (horrible give away tonight in the 1st, no doubt about that). He is Canada's all time goal leader in international play and he isnt even 30. He has won a Calder. He has was a WC. He played in the Olympics and will be there again. I have my theory on Heatley's game that prob wont go over well with anyone so Ill leave it at that.

I don't know. I've been quite disappointed with Heatley's play lately. Tonight's no exception. One measly shot on goal. It's simple math -- the more he shoots, the more he scores, and we've seen him get goals from bad angles, bad puck position. Just shoot more.
