Schwartz is super injury prone these days and as it’s been stated is LW.
The talent is there but can’t see him being something the sens go after.
Im hoping the sens offer something to Savard as you’re getting someone who knows what life in a small market is, has recently won the cup and is responsible defensively. With all the movement of players around the league right now, maybe he’s available on FA day.

I get that. But being smart is also knowing that you see something no other teams see.
At least for a couple of picks to draft down. Of all the stupid things the sens management does, I don’t think dropping down to pick your guy is the thing that’s not gonna make them look smart.

This is bad asset management as fr as I’m concerned.

I will admit that this draft is super wonky though. Guys are not going where I thought they would.
Time will tell who did their job right I guess.

It will be one of the more interesting draft to go back with hindsight to see who got their Dung right.

Don’t agree. They have traded down before and traded up before. They most likely had intel that he was going to be picked higher than “expected”

It’s a weak draft in general with little elite talent. There will be a lot of busts

I think it’s weird because Raty is a sure bet to be an NHLer. I think his floor is 3rd line C. He could still be a top 6 C. I would definitely take him.

Yeah. This wasn’t necessary the time to trade down for a 5th rounder.

Raty went 52. Nobody really wanted him and most likely will bust based on history

Yeah, tough to harp on the Sens picks when:

A) This draft and this draft year is very wonky.
B) They have a proven track record.
C) The guys they picked seem like good picks regardless of where they were picked.
D) Teams always make "off the board" selections.
