I was really hoping Florida could make a run and help push Pittsburgh out of the playoffs. It wasn’t inconceivable until maybe last nights loss.

The Coyotes beat Vegas. Outstanding.

We gotta bend over and let Florida have their way with us tonight.

If Florida has any playoff aspirations they need a win to bring them within 1 point of New Jersey. A loss could spell the end of the Panthers. Must win for them tonight.

I pat myself on the back for that call. Actually, I take all the credit for three perfect tank nights in a row. I’m on fire.

Need to feed the streak. Ottawa loses, Buffalo wins past regulation, Canucks win past regulation and Arizona beats the Kings.

That cost us 2% but that was also a heck of a fun game to watch.  How many times did they try to give away the extra point?

Eichel with 5 assists last night. I didn't even know he was back. LOL. They always play well against the Leafs, who cannot change their position (they'll play either Boston or Tampa in round 1). Winnable game, especially if Babs decided to start resting players. Senators play the Jets in a game they should have no business keeping close. They could very well be just one point apart with they play head to head.

I’m hoping that the final 6 games in 9 days fatigue starts hitting them now.

Taylor was called up to drive the tank bus home. This is the only way I can defend this move. Let’s go Buffalo. I wonder if Taylor can be the Sens Matt Yeats of the 2004 Washington Capitals that helped land them Ovechkin?

I’m loving tonight’s probability for tank nation success. Montreal should be able to beat Winnipeg and I also like Arizona’s chances against Calgary. No idea what to think about the Canucks/Vegas game but I can see lots of reasons for Vancouver beating them for the first time.

Taylor is here on an emergency recall. Probably will back up Andy.

The highest the Sens can finish is 4th last place or 28th out of 31.

A top 3 pick is crucial to me. Once it gets beyond that, more questions enter the equation. It’s been that way since I made this thread and it still stands.

I'm okay with top 5 to be honest but I do agree that top three would be ideal.

If we do get Dhalin, the defensive left-side is pretty incredible with Chabot, Dhalin, Wolanin, Englund coming down the pipe.
The right side remains weak and while I think it is counter-intuitive to do this, I'd look at trading Ceci either for a top-six forward or RHD. All of a sudden Ottawa get's pretty nasty on paper.

Chabot-Karlsson
Dhalin-XXXXX
Wolanin-XXXX

Find two stay at home d-men (one could be Jaros or Harpur as the #6) and all of a sudden Ottawa is looking pretty slick from the back-end.
