My thoughts include, If we get Dahlin, I would actually trade Ceci and Pittsburgh’s 1st (Washington has to beat Pittsburgh to entice EDM) for Edmonton’s pick (if they stay in Farabee range. Then, go sign Luke Schenn and we haveDefenceWinsChampionships wrote:^^ Couldn't agree more
Ceci and Hoffman trade options for sure in EDM.
Not sure what we have that the Rags would want though.
I don’t care about toughness for all 82 games. Boro can sub in the odd game and also cover for injuries. I love my pairings and that is saying a lot considering Schenn isn’t that good.DefenceWinsChampionships wrote:I think your lineup misses an element of toughness. I would definitely expect to see Boro factor into the bottom pairing even though I do agree that Wolanin is better.
I am assuming we're getting the 4th overall pick. In typical Sens fashion we will miss the big three. 1st, 2nd or 3rd is a pleasant and happy surprise. 4th is what I am expecting. 5th I'll be pissed.

Chabot Karlsson
Dahlin Schenn
Wolanin Wideman
Boro Harpur

So I guess the question I have now 3 weeks after this post and after Bob McKenzie just tweeted one hour ago this:Ev wrote:tim1_2 wrote:Ev wrote:Lagoon wrote:Svechnikov is not the clear #2, but that’s cool that you would pick him. I’m torn on him and Zadina just like mostly everyone else, all the rankings and mocks that I’ve seen.
That's not correct. He is by far the clear #2. I really don't care what you have to say in reply to this, because I don't respect you nor value your opinion at all, but this is just fact.
Actually Ev, you are not correct. There are many lists available on the internet compiled by people that know more than you and I.

Svechnikov is #2 on some lists, but not all. There is far from a consensus as to who will go #2.
I didn’t say he would be the #2 in every single ranking. But that doesn’t matter at all. Only Bob McKenzies ranking really matters. Anyone who knows anything about the draft and prospects has a clear cut #2 right now
