And Sexton gets the next call from Ottawa. Ahhhhh!

Go Kanata.

I checked the Rogers grid and don't see the game anywhere.

Nothing but amazing things to say about Duchene. I'm gushing.

Sexton.... I guess they’re just rewarding him.

Terrible moves all around for this org this year.
Duchene and Chabot being the only bright spots.

Game was on at 3, guy that much from their websitr. But I checked the grid and scanned through all the spots channels and did not find out. Had to follow it on Twitter.

Nice game for Gustavsson. 35 saves on 37 shots in a blowout win.

I’d be surprised if it was only 35 saves. I watched the game and it seemed like he had at least 40 shots. I thought I heard the announcers say 40 at one point late in the third.

Sorry, 37 *saves*. He faced 39 shots.

Good for Gustavsson...although I'm pretty sure Laval is equally as terrible as Belleville this year.

Travis Yost finds new ways to explain our goaltending wasn't good this year:

Also, no Karlsson tonight vs the Hurricanes, as he didn't make the road trip. Embrace the #tank.

Good article and well researched. I find a lot of Yost’s pieces highlight the negative, but he qualifies his articles and has worked for his platform. He’s not wrong.

Some schedules for #tanknation going forward:

Ottawa: @Canes, vs Isles, vs Panthers, @ Wings, vs Jets, @ Sabres, @ Pitt, @ Bruins
Detroit: @Canadiens, vs Penguins, @Sabres, vs Sens, @CBJ, vs Canadiens, vs Islanders
Montreal: vs Wings, @ Pitt, vs Devils, vs Jets, @ Wings, @ Leafs
Buffalo: @ Leafs, vs Wings, @ Preds, @ Leafs, vs Sens, @ TBL, @ Panthers
Arizona: @ TBL, @VGK, @LA, vs STL, @ Flames, @ Canucks, vs Ducks
Vancouver: vs Ducks, vs Oilers, vs CBJ, vs VGK, vs Coyotes, @ Oilers

Some key matchups where we hope for 3 point games. Safe to say bottom 4 is within the realm of the possible. Bottom 3 might be a bit of a stretch. Van City ends with 5/6 at home, Buffalo plays well against Toronto and Ottawa, Montreal vs Wings twice, Arizona may only win another 1 game.

Prospects:

- Colin White had himself a nice weekend with a few goals and a few assists.
- Pokka with a hat-trick yesterday
- Gustavsson with a 37 save win in his first game
- Formenton with 5 goal in 2 games
- Batherson with 3 points in 2 games
- Brown with 3 assists in 2 games

Looking at the standings, I think we're pretty much locked in to finished 28th or 27th. We have a couple games in hand on most of the teams we're battling with, which is unfortunate.

That sucks. Three of our last 4 games are against good teams that will presumably be resting some of their best players.

I think it was on the radio today that I heard Stone may be done for the year.

I haven't been paying much attention, but did we ever find out what his injury is?

Me neither. I don’t know. Sadly, the Sens have taken a backseat to the entire NHL this year for me. It is usually the other way around.
