Probably means Brassard won't be returning earlier than expected.

No room for Vandevelde? Then why bring him in?
By the way, just heard Whitey talking about seeing Brassard teeing off at the charity golf they did over the weekend and how his shoulder must be doing very well. So that, at least, is a positive.
I think the Sens play in Sweden right after their "bye" week, Nov 10/11. Karlsson isn't going to miss games in Sweden, I don't think, and if he's not totally ready the week before why risk rushing him before they are off for a week. So if he isn't going to be ready by late October he's probably not going to play until those games in Sweden.
P.S. Would it not have made better sense to hold the bye week *after* they return from Sweden?

Very emotional guy. Probably best if he didn't. But I leave it to guy Boucher to work his minutes to ease him in. I'm split 50/50 on if he should spend time in the AHL. I see no reason why he wouldn't start in ottawa and if he doesn't handle it so we'll go down to Belleville to play big minutestim1_2 wrote:I'm not a fan of how Dorion keeps hyping up Chabot.
