Hanzal, on the other hand, is getting a 1st, 2nd, and a conditional 2nd from Minny. Holy.  Diddle.

If Hanzal got that, I'm kind of afraid of what Duchene will go for

Goalies never ever get a big return. Having said that TB gets a good prospect, saves cap space next year. The only problem is they still need to get a goalie to be expansion draft compliant.

Keep in mind that Bishop if a UFA and it's not like LA will be able to keep him. If Bishop fetched only that return, then there's no hope of Fleury being traded this deadline....

He will probably get traded but they have to look at the cost of trading him for virtually nothing vs having a decent back-up heading into the playoffs.
Could Philly or Dallas be interested? Philly has two UFA goalies in Mason and Neuvirth, while Dallas could send a goalie back to Pitt and retain 50% of their salary.

I put that in the general Sens thread thinking that this is probably not it fit the deadline deals. Well, maybe not "thinking" but more "hoping".

No way two forwards are going to be healthy scratches every night. This is definitely in the right thread. Precursor to a Lazar trade

After the trade deadline there is no limit on the roster size and playoff bound teams will often have a bunch of players as healthy scratches. Way more than two forwards.

That said, you may be right. Lazar was pulled late from the lineup with an upper body injury. Could just be code.

Yeah, ya gotta think this means someone from the current group of forwards is getting dealt. DiDomenico isn't coming over to play in the AHL.

Certainly not with a one-way deal (for the remainder of this season).

I wonder if it's Lazar who will be dealt or maybe someone of more significance as part of a bigger trade..? Yeah, probably Lazar.

It could also signal that White will not be signed/play in the NHL this season.
