I'm not arguing that Ceci has heard the rumours, I'm just saying I'm not so sure it's "evident" that Dorion is really pushing for the Duchene trade.

Colorado is not a bad place for a 23 year old. They will get someone like Hischier this summer and their return to respectability will be just as quick as their drop off a cliff this year.

But I also don't think he will be moved. Melnyk said he's willing to open his wallet to make the playoffs. I'm guessing a rental that will cost what we're saving on CMac's insurance. That could be a very nice player and won't cost more than a decent prospect and a mid round pick.

I bet the Sens are looking at guys like Stafford.   Maybe hudler, guys who can be had cheap, have been around the league,  are pros and would be considered relatively cheap to acquire.

I guarantee we're not giving up what it takes to get sharp and guys like that.   I'd be really shocked if we did - and we'd all probably regret it quickly.

Unbelievable, Bill Paxton ("Sarge is gone! Game over, man") passed away at 61. Complications from surgery. He was starring in a new show on TV.

NONONONONONO Hudler. The Cussing guy has been a healthy scratch a bunch this year for the Stars and has been generally awful.

Which is exactly why this move makes sense. We're talking about the Senators, after all.

I would much prefer Neil, or any number of our Bingo players in the lineup over Hudler.

Is he bad or did he not fit in?  I've always liked him, but I defer to never watching Dallas.   Ever.
