I think he's a more explosive version of Turris, not sure if he's better, but boy it would be nice to have Duchene and Turris and Pageau and White down the middle.

I think he's an upgrade over Zib as Zib is more of a shooter than a passer and I find duschene excels pretty well at both. Gives you that extra dimension to slide him with anyone as we have seen with Zib it ain't so. Zib paired with Bobby Ryan has led to body having to become more of a passer to compensate and I believe has helped diminished his effectiveness on that line. I think duschene would likely make ryan better.

I think you have a solid 1a 1b in duschene turris. And if white is the second coming then you move duschene to the wing.

I honestly don't think stamkos is that much better than turris either.

The thing with Stamkos is he comes without a trade. And he's a definite upgrade over zib. But no I wouldn't say he's the top center in the league. Backstrom isn't likely to be available. The problem is who is available.

Backstroke should be available if I were the gm because he's never shown up in the playoffs and is kinda soft sometimes. He's due for a change imo

You can't say that right now, Stamkos has 4 fewer goals in one season thar Turris' career high in total points.

I do wonder though, how many points Turris would have had if he didn't get hurt last year. 70+ I'd bet. Hopefully we can see him healthy this year.

Turris is underrated by his own fans. He has a lot of the same qualities as Johnny Toes without the same supporting cast and 70 pts. and beyond is going to be a routine occurrence for Turris once this team rounds out into shape.

Lots Of forwards available in FA . Should drive the price down a bit but I expect he'll go for more than a 1st

That's one massive drop off though.

Vrbata is notorious for having better results in a contract year. Since he failed to replicate that in the latest instance, he may be truly done.
