Hoffman + Wiercioch + pick for Drouin + Johnson makes more and more sense.

I don't see Hamhuis waiving for Boston. Apparently he is being very selective. Maybe Washington in the East (Trotz), but that's about it.Flo The Action wrote:Dallas was in on hamhuis but so is Boston. Maybe one of those two takes a gamble on wier if they fail to land hamhuis?tim1_2 wrote:I wonder if Colorado is now off the list of teams interested in Wiercioch...probably?
Like I said. I don't see him get us more than a 3rd or 4rth.
I don't think Chiasson gets moved either.
I bet lots of teams would of been on phaneuf had he been a couple millions cheaper and a year lighter on his contract.Oglethorpe wrote:I love the Phaneuf addition, his contract fits in nicely with the Sens. There's zero pressure to do anything today.
Tampa likely not interested. They want to resign stamkos and likely won't have the money if they have to give Hoffman 5+tim1_2 wrote:Hoffman + Wiercioch + pick for Drouin + Johnson makes more and more sense.
I think SSF might be right about Ceci, all the other Dmen in his draft class are signing for around 4M over 6 years. I would do 4M over 7 years for Ceci, although I would prefer a bridge.Flo The Action wrote:I bet lots of teams would of been on phaneuf had he been a couple millions cheaper and a year lighter on his contract.Oglethorpe wrote:I love the Phaneuf addition, his contract fits in nicely with the Sens. The joys of cap space.
Let's get Hoffman 5x5, 5x5.5 and Ceci 2x2.75, 2x3 and keep moving.
The organization prefers bridge deals nowadays. Especially since the near fiasco of the 8 year Cowen deal. Even the last wier contract looked bad. I doubt we give him more than a 3 year deal.Oglethorpe wrote:I think SSF might be right about Ceci, all the other Dmen in his draft class are signing for around 4M over 6 years.
