Well I'm tempted to say yost hasn't a clue what he's talking about. He knows how to jumble stats but anything else hockey related shouldn't ever be left for him to analyze.

He lives in NYC and loves "hoops" and boxing. Apparently that qualified him to blog about the Sens.

His main claim to fame was being called out by Melnyk as a "useless random blogger". He was (allegedly) hacked by someone whose IP address was tracked down to some organization in the Ukraine (this was after he wrote a series of blogs "breaking" Melnyk/Sens financial dire straits -- Melnyk is of Ukrainian descent).

He was late on the advanced stats bandwagon and as far as I know never did anything in terms of developing any new stats. In other words he just read up what someone else had created and parlayed that into a job with TSN.

He has always been, and will always continue to be, a complete and utter idiot of the very highest grade.
