Dzingel is like a little bee buzzing around out there. I like it!

Shots were misleading. We kept them to the outside for most of them. Lots of shots from the point with no sabre in front. I liked our defense tonight a lot.

Not bad. Hopefully they pull the trigger on Ceci for Drouin and bring in Kostka. Then we'll really be getting somewhere.

He didn't have to steal this game

What? They were pretty good in the third but Anderson saved the game multiple times before that. As much as I malign him, he was fully deserving of the 1st star.

Agreed. He's been much better at jumping into the rush. Basically how he played his first year when he was paired up with a veteran left-handed defenseman Smile

No, he didn't have to, but he did anyway. Ryan/Turris scoring in the SO didn't hurt, either. Ryan is 7 of 9. Do you even know what this means!

I'll just reiterate this morning....Thank you Mr. Anderson.

The 4th line was pretty good too.

Nice to not dread the shootout anymore.

Saving our bacon, as usual.

By the way, what was with that slashing penalty on Stone when the defenseman basically cross checked him and broke his stick against Stone's. It was ridiculous when Stone's arms never moved, same as two games ago when Boro was called for high-sticking when his stick was against the boards facing the other way.

It's nice to see Lazar hitting his NHL stride. He's getting a lot of opportunities now, it's a matter of time.

I had the best view in the house last night. He was good but the Sabres weren't threatening with most of their shots.

I haven't seen a whole game with Dion yet. This is good to hear though. I assumed he was still getting his bearings. Sounds like we'll get a good look at what we really have on D over the next few games.

Our top 4 D are good now. I don't really care about the 3rd pairing other than trying to ensure they can play either PP or PK. Wideman looks like a stop gap until we upgrade at the trade deadline next year, in order to maintain our lead atop the division and provide depth for the long playoff run to come. Beer
