(...the Walrus was Paul)

The Sens continue their five game road trip with a game against their former head coach, Paul MacLean, who is now an assistant with Anaheim.  The Ducks were projected to be one of the top teams in the West before the season started, but have struggled with their offense all season long (under 2 goals per game), and find themselves 4 points out of a wildcard spot (albeit with a couple games in hand).  On the other hand, the Senators are pretty much were they were expected to be, 1 point out of a playoff spot and struggling to put together a winning streak.

I don't think anyone on the Ducks is close to a major milestone, and their coach appears to be delusional (quote: "They have tremendous team speed, so that’s something we have to deal with") so we have a chance tonight.

GO SENS GO!!!

No lineup changes expected. Anderson to start, Driedger the backup as Hammond took a leave to deal with some stuff.

Damn. I have classes at 8:30 am. Not a good day for a lay start. Maybe it will be a boring game and I'll be able to fall asleep.

The Ducks are starting to play better which is unfortunate for us. Still, this is a very winnable game.

Set PVR, alarm for 6AM, go to bed at 9. 9 hours of sleep should be enough, then watch the game FF through the breaks, done by 7:30. Go to class.

Prags, are you suggesting the Sens don't have good team speed? They definitely have some filthy speed in guys like EK and Hoff. That might be what the coach meant. That the Sens have some very speedy players.

That's two out of a total of 18 skaters on a game-day roster.

Clearly you don't have teenagers living in your home.

Hammond could rejoin the team tomorrow. Their next back-to-back is Thursday/Friday next week (Thursday is the last day of the road trip in Jersey, then Friday they face the Islanders at home).

I might pass on this one. Too late for me and we're terrible right now. Game time decision.
