I don't. Give up one small player who could score 40 goals this season for *two* small players, one of whom is on the wrong slope (is he a 25 goal scorer or 10?) and another who has proven nothing at the NHL level.

Any updates on Borowiecki?

Apparently ZBad is feeling under the weather (flu?) and Paul has been recalled in case he can't play tonight.

Neat:

Dzingel-Turris-Ryan
Hoffman-Lazar-Chiasson
Smith-Pageau-Stone
Prince-Paul-Neil

Nice to see Dzingel bumped up. It's a shame Chiasson is still on the roster. Giving Lazar a goal-scoring linemate is a neat idea.

Not sure how Hoffman feels about this. His chances of getting to 40 (and $6M) did not exactly improve with Lazar and Chiasson. Chiasson has 4 assists on the year. Lazar is definitely better, but 10 isn't exactly Ryan's 26 or Stone's 25.

Borowiecki won't play.  Zibanejad is a game-time decision (both missed morning skate).

Hoffman has no chance at 40 regardless

If Hoffman wants his money, time to show you can produce without being in the perfect situation. I love it.

On the flipside, Hoffman is saying "Why the Diddle am I on this line?" And is preparing his exit strategy.

The Sens are preparing it for him: "Yeah we can't keep you, Hoff. We had to pay The Cecer close to 5 schmill... Top 4, local and all that so yeah."

I doubt he has the balls to go the 1 year deal route when he may only get one really good payday.

ya i see. i'm a bit puzzled but i'm open minded. we'll see.
but come on. i dunno. to me thats spreading out the offense a little bit much. the lazar hoffman line relies on hoffman a bit too much. but whatever. tank bus has left the station. time to see what we have for next season.

dunno. the kid has a chip on his shoulder and seems pretty certain that he can be a producer. might be up to wait it out another year to score big.

time for BM to put his money where his mouth is with last off season's comments and pay the hoff.

He's on pace for 35 (not a bad total in itself) so, yeah, 40 is a stretch, but hardly "no chance" territory.
