Cowen and a 2nd?
Cowen + Lazar ?

Cowen untradeable? How about Lecavalier AND Luke Schenn.

But nobody makes trades anymore, right? Laugh1

Well... I doubt the price would be that low. I'm thinking yes with lazar but if you add Cowen you might have to add a pick low end 2nd rounder. But they'd ask for a first for sure.

I read somewhere today that they would much rather trade him out west. And not at all within the division. Unless it's by far the best deal on the table.

That's the Kings doing a favour for their old buddy hextall. Lecavalier and schenn are insurance players as the Kings prepare to win their 3rd Stanley cup.

Also quite comical that both schenn brothers will now have played for the Kings and flyers.

The good news is this might set GM's in a position to make more moves. Let's keep going and get ourselves a second pairing Dman!

GM's not working for the Ottawa Senators maybe...

Wowzers. That's an awesome trade for both teams.

Richards signs in Washington.

Is it the trade deadline or something? When's the last time we had this much activity in one day?

Agreed, though the Preds win hands down. The Preds had a stable of excellent D (and traded their 3rd best), whereas the BJs don't have anyone who can compensate for the loss of RyJo. They'll definitely both benefit long term, but the Jackets are going to drive the tank bus all the way home this season.

Probably never since trades never happen...

But those windbags at TSN must be Dung their drawers seeing their precious trade deadline broadcast go up in smoke almost two months early.

$10 says they spend a considerable amount of time discussing these trades on that very broadcast.

Maybe a World Jr. recap and Draft preview too.

Sad we couldn't get RyJo but that's a pretty good deal for both teams. With the emergence of Josi, preds were in a position of strength, though I thought ryan ellis + picks would be going the other way. They needed offense and now they got it. And columbus gets a player 3 years younger and potential stud dman.

Columbus looks like they're buckling up to drive the tank train to auston matthews.

Nashville, LA, Washington all getting ready to make long playoff runs.

Ottawa getting ready to sell us a bill of goods like "Young and Hungry" in lieu of making improvements.

Whoa. Lecavalier is set to retire after this season. That means he's going to leave a lot of money behind. He's signed through 2018 at $4.5 per. That's a $9M gift he's giving the Kings.

Internet says that Habs are going hard after Drouin.
