Chris Neil - Had he not been injured he might have been moved at the deadline. He barely gets 4th line minutes as it is and we have guys in the AHL coming up and guys needing spots in Bingo.

Colin Greening - Pretty obvious but, how do you move that contract? Buy-out?

Chris Philips - Sounds like he'll just spend the last year in the press box and then retire. Not a bad set of eyes to have up there right?

Eric Gryba - It's time to give others a shot, like perhaps Wideman or pick up a veteran blue liner in the offseason.

Anderson - Not exactly expendable but, it's time to move him. His value couldn't be much higher and with both Lehner and Hammond able to carry the ball, this makes perfect sense to do now to upgrade other areas in a package deal.

Cowen - Move him while he's still young and full of "potential" in the package mentioned above. He can't crack a D line up that needs improvement.

Hoffman - Only move him if it's in a package of the previous mentioned players and if it's for an upgrade in the ilk of an Eberle.

Legwand - Failed experiment. Regardless of whether you thought he was under used, inappropriately used or never given a chance, it's time to move on.

Michalek - If you can find a dance partner then move him before he stumbles out of the gate once more. Too many miles on this guy now.

Condra - Tak'm or leav'm

Smith - See Condra

Yeah, I agree with most of this.

I'd like to hang on to Neil as a 13th forward, and keeping Condra as a 4th line guy/PK specialist isn't a bad idea depending on the alternatives (just too bad the guy is an offensive black hole).

Beyond that...yeah. The goaltending is a three-headed monster. Anderson or Lehner needs to be shipped out, with Hammond as the backup (love Hammond's attitude and demeanour for a backup goalie).

I like Condra but, wouldn't be upset if some young guys got a shot instead. As for the goalie situation I think it's time to move Anderson. You'll likely never have his value higher and he's holding back Lehner's progression. You still have Hammond, as you said, as a perfect backup that can step in from time to time. If the Sens were legitimate cup contenders for the 2015/16 season then my view on Anderson might be different but, they're not.

I think they will keep Anderson. They're not going to handover the net to two goalies who never played a full season.  One of whom hasn't even recovered from a concussion.

Condra will be cut loose.

Wiercioch better be staying.

Be nice if they move Michalek. I don't think he's a good top 6 anymore and he's expensive for a bottom 6 role.

Cowen and Gryba will hopefully be gone.

Philips and Neil better be in the press box if not traded/retired.

Greening will probably be bought out.

Hoffman will be traded unless they come up with a nice bridge deal. Murray will never let it reach arbitration. I guess we'd be trading his rights. Depends on the offers. They might get screwed here.

Well, if they don't trade Anderson in the off season then do it before the trade deadline. Lehner is capable of taking the job. Sure, wait until he's recovered of course but, move Anderson after that.

Maybe at the deadline at the earliest. Personally I think Lehner has a higher chance of being dealt than Andy.

If they sign O'Connor then someone is gone for sure before training camp.

It would seem to me that EDM is the perfect fit. They need Dmen, they need a legit goalie and if they're moving one of their stud offensive forwards they want a decent replacement.

An Anderson, Cowen, Hoffman for Eberle trade makes perfect sense for both sides. I don't think Cowen is a total bust and could definitely still carve out a decent role as a 4-5 guy who's tough on the PK. You don't have to think much on the PK. Just follow your assignemt and think robotically.

You're willing to assume that O'Connor will be a stud goalie but not Lehner? How old is O'Connor? Do you think he'll be ready to step in when Anderson is no longer a viable starter?

Cowen is terrible. Held out like he's Drew Doughty but played like Boris Valabik?

Plus those comments recently???

Trade him for a bag of pucks if you have to.

I'm gonna stick with my original "untouchables" list from the dudline. Karlsson, Ryan and Stone. Amazing how some people (SpezD) would have considered trading Stone at the deadline.

Methot is not a guy that I would consider untouchable on his own but he's kind of tethered to Karlsson so it goes without saying, obviously.

Add Condra and Wiercioch to the list in my opinion. Not saying I want to get rid of Wiercioch but he could be use in an upgrade

This is how I envision the lineup:

MacArthur - Turris - Stone
Hoffman - Zibanejad - Ryan
Puempel - Pageau - lazar
Michalek - smith - Neil
Chiasson

I think Condra gets an offer he can't refuse in free agency. Which sucks because he's been fantastic under Cameron.

Methot - Karlsson
Wiercioch - ?????
Boro - Ceci

Cowen traded, Phillips sits, Gryba the depth 7th guy. That hole on the right side is very, very important. Need to fill it with a big player.

Anderson
Hammond

With the proviso that we sign o'connor, Lehner is traded. I'm sorry, but I can't see any scenario where you trade Anderson right now.

Or that. You upgrade the left side 2nd pairing and play Wiercioch as the 7th guy or trade him. Either way, this team can take a massive step forward with one #3 Dman acquired.

They're a budget team who needs to choose between one of the goalies. It makes sense to trade the declining asset who makes more money + is injury prone, in my opinion.

Before this round nobody even remembered Andy existed. He went 2-2 in the playoffs. We have more pressing needs to fill then to keep Anderson

Bottom line - where do people, must importantly our brass - see this team next year? A contender? A playoff team? A fringe playoff team?

If they truly think the time has come, you need to make some key acquisitions.
