Schneider might not, but Robinson...there's no reason a team that signs a guy like that and loves the look of him wouldn't take a look at him in a lost year. He'll get a few games I would imagine.

Robinson is probably one of those guys who'll need 4 years or more in the AHL. He was very, very green. But also very, very big and quite fast for a big guy. And he showed some moves that made me raise my eyebrow and want to see more.

Also all this talk about trimming the fat with Wiercioch, I thought he showed much better speed in the last game. I haven't been keeping an eye on him but some time earlier in the season he looked like he was lumbering down the ice. Last game, while I wouldn't say he was "flying" he was certainly at the same level as Methot and Cowen. I wonder if he could have been nursing an injury. Remember there was one time he was sat out, earlier, and they said he was injured, and we all thought they were just rotating people through the IR to make room.

Around the same time Matt Foy gets a shot.

Fact is we're sitting 2 defencemen a night, with another 2 defencemen in the minors that can probably handle NHL minutes.

I think Robinson is the perfect 4th line player. We'll be losing more toughness if Neil gets traded so it's only natural to fill the Greening/Neil and potentnially Smith void with Robinson.

I am not even sure Prince gets a shot with Ottawa. Our roster is pretty jam packed as it is, let alone adding Paul, our top 10 from this year, and Puempel in the mix.

Robinson isn't tough. If he had an edge he'd probably be up here by now.

Really? He's 6'5 235lbs and he's not tough? I'm not proposing he drops the gloves - but we need someone who can hit and play in the dirty zones. I didn't watch all the game last night but it seemed like Ryan was in on Ovechkin after he went after Karlsson. Where was Neil in all of this?

Yup he's pretty soft for a guy his size. The coaches want to see more edge from him

In case anyone is wondering, Noesen has 3 points since we traded him. Granted, he's only played 6 games, but that's telling as well.

I actually feel pretty bad for him, it's been a nightmare of injuries.

Noesen would have been a very, very solid player if it wasn't for the injuries and they are starting to pile up. It's more bad luck for the Ducks and especially Noesen himself than anything the Sens or Murray did.

Looks an awful lot like The Gregger is nowhere near playing any time soon. Kind of great timing for Lehner because it could save him being dealt with his solid play and might see Anderson gone at the deadline with playoff hopes out of reach.

It might be time to take calls, yeah. Getting the best possible deal on him might take us well into the off-season though.

Moving Anderson is an offseason move, no way does it get done at the deadline. Sens have him signed for 3 more years and if they decide to trade him they have lots of time to do so.

A team like Edmonton still makes the most sense. Maybe San Jose.

If SJ craps their pants and does something desperate, you never know...

I want Pavelski, I wonder what we'd have to add to get him. A whole bunch I bet.

Really? Pavelski wouldn't be my #1 choice. I'd prefer Couture

Yeah, but you're not getting Couture under any circumstances, Pavelski you might be able to pry. Or not, I'm not really sure.

LOL. No way SJ moves two of their best players. I would like Toews and Chicago is having cap problems.

Fair enough, it's really no use trying to guess. We'll hear names out there at some point.
