The other thing that Murray does that is extremely annoying is saying "I want to add a guy to help this team" when the season is pretty much over. The Hemsky deal, w/e, he didn't give up a ton but even now you haven't heard the words "seller" from his mouth, just the media.

I'm sure he means longer term than this season.

Yeah, I don't think we'll be seeing any rentals in Ottawa this spring. If Murray brings in a roster player, the intention will be to have him here long term.

You would have to think Murray was thinking at some point "I am going to leave this game without having won a Stanley Cup" and at that point you have to question if he's doing right by the players, team, organization, and city. It's a morbid thought for sure but I don't it's a stretch either.

Hopefully they start to make the right deals soon and start selling.
