IF a deal between Ottawa and Edmonton were to go down, I'd bet our first is not included in the deal. BM would obviously like to keep the pick but it's also in Edmonton's best interests to take a prospect rather than the pick given their draft history. I could be wrong but I see a guy like Prince going rather than the first. I'm also assuming that we finish better than bottom 10.

Maybe Cameron isn't as big on righty-righty/lefty-lefty as MacLean was? Maybe they are trying to see if some guys are capable of playing the right side in a pinch? Having a Dman who can play both sides effectively is a big time luxury, again it's one of the hardest things in hockey to do effectively. Only the people who have never laced up a pair of skates and played the position are the ones that think it's easy to do or completely over blown. Not saying other people don't get it like yourself, I am suggesting that the people who put little to no weight into it have absolutely no idea wtf they are talking about when it comes to playing that position.
