If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best. And we did that last night.

Thought MacLean showed some balls having the kid line out there late. I've been really impressed by Stone. He's turning into quite the power forward.
Assuming Phillips is out, I am guessing Claesson gets the call-up over Wideman, since Freddy is a left-handed shot.

I think if Claeson is called up then Karlsson will have more than one partner. No way you let a kid fresh out of the AHL play 25+ minutes against one of the better teams in the West.tim1_2 wrote:Also, assuming they call-up Claesson, I hope they pair him immediately with Karlsson. He was checking Datsyuk's line all night long

Once these guys get more games in and with each other there will be a solid, solid core that can do some serious damage for years to come. Still need that stud type D man on the left side though, really missing a guy who can log serious minutes each night and will give you the same results. Methot isn't that guy.

Hoffman is basically Mason Raymond 2.0.

Dude, come on. It's SSF. That was tongue-in-cheek or sarcasm.
