Perhaps their conflicting philosophies is as simple as a GM wanting the coach to play the kids and the coach playing the vets that he trusts and believes give him the best chance to win.

If that is the case it is on Murray.  You give the coach a roster, and it's up to the coach to deploy.  If you want Lehner over Anderson, remove Anderson as an option, etc...

Yeah sure made good business sense to let him go and let Captain Giggleputz lead us to the golf course this year.  And now the owner says we need new leadership when he let the best leadership we've ever had go because he cares more about his penny stocks.

St.Louis will be the team to throw them the best deal IMO... you watch what happens there when they can't score this playoff.
