We might want to think about what wingers might be coming in because Spezza is likely staying due to his low salary and high cap hit to get this team to the floor.

I don't know about you lot, but I really don't think he belongs in that group. Especially when you look at his 101-79-30 record.

As for the off season, that finish felt like the end of spezza and it's a fitting way to end. I see him and methot traded. I think they will try their best to sign hemsky. Would like to see michalek back as a third liner
That said, with stone and Zibanejad becoming more prominent, I'm worried the sens will have become very injury prone for next season.

the only thing he has won is AHL MVP
Not winning a world championship, world junior, etc. when you're a Canadian point per game career player is pretty sad

I have to stay I strongly disagree with him but, hey, who knows.

Same as Bobby Ryan will when the time comes. No biggie.
Bobby will re-sign in a few weeks. It's very rare that a rental acquired at the trade deadline re-signs before July 1.
I don't believe they he can resign until July 1st. Can't even have official talks until then.
I think by July 2nd it'll be officially known that young Ryan intends to "test the waters."

Goosebumps.

Hemsky should test free agency, although there's a need for him here. Michalek should sign a 2 year, 4 mil a year, but I doubt he does.
Keep Anderson unless he's being disruptive.
We don't need Hemsky or Michalek. That line is a huge liability IMO.
If Hemsky and Spezza are gone there is a huge need for a top 6 forward with some experience.
Flo The Action wrote:finally heard the comments from spezza from this morning. those are not words from a guy, let alone a captain that is coming back. no way, no how that this is a guy that wants to be back. he's said all the right things so that he won't be booed or destroy if the sens go into next season with his last year but as of right now he does not want to be back and probably expects to be traded... see ya!

IF they are both gone.. the team takes a step back... IMO
