I couldn't really fault him on the goals he allowed...and then he came up HUGE in OT for us. We gave up 37 shots against too, so it wasn't exactly a light workload either.NEELY wrote:Disagree with Anderson. Not a heavy workload last night and still managed to get 3 behind him. He has to be better.
Congrats, did you name it Thanks? or Shabbs? or ?tim1_2 wrote:Feels good to win.
Just had a new baby on Thanksgiving Monday, so wasn't able to watch the game until this morning.
Spezza with the hat-trick, and I'm pretty sure all three were flukey (the slapper seemed to go off a Phoenix defender's stick). Still, should get him rolling.
The reason we won this game was . He made three huge saves just in OT to keep us alive. Spezza and EK both had horrific turnovers leading to Grade A scoring chances for the Coyotes, and :MTx:denied them.
It was awesome to see Conacher get the game winner...he was our best forward.
Hopefully this creates some momentum. There is no reason not to stomp NJ into the ground tomorrow.
He wasn't bad but he still needs to be better, that's all.tim1_2 wrote:I couldn't really fault him on the goals he allowed...and then he came up HUGE in OT for us. Oh, and we need to stay out of the box (broken record).
Your work has only just begun, old friend.shabbs wrote:Sens win!

the way I see it it's just begun. there's a lot more games to be played this year and probably over twenty games in the playoffs too... maybe you wanna start preparing them so you can just dish them out as Gd comes along? you'd been away for a while, you had a lot of time to prepare for this. the team is counting on you, don't Diddle around man!shabbs wrote:Sens win!

Just a bodycheck, wasn't it?Hoags wrote:Is Ryan going to get a Shanaban for that hit on Klesla? I hope not
Machete to the face of Conacher: no call. Marginal hit on Klesla: 3 game suspension for Ryan. Makes perfect sense under Deputy Douchebag's watch.SpezDispenser wrote:Just a bodycheck, wasn't it?Hoags wrote:Is Ryan going to get a Shanaban for that hit on Klesla? I hope not
Hardly. Another 76 games to go. And then (God willing) the playoffs.shabbs wrote:Sens win!

He was horrible giving out that rebound to Klinkhammer. That was a weak shot off the face-off and he must have been completely unprepared for it. Those shots have to be cleared into the corner, not back in the slot.tim1_2 wrote:I couldn't really fault him on the goals he allowed...and then he came up HUGE in OT for us. Can't really blame andy on that. The shot was from spezza inadvertently winning the draw clean and was a surprise to everybody.wprager wrote:He was horrible giving out that rebound to Klinkhammer. Because there is a better goaltender playing right behind him that's basically the franchise for the next 10 years and has played better so far this year as well.Hoags wrote:Klinkhammer was all alone in front of the net, was that Andy's fault too?
The Sens got a win and Anderson posted .918% in that game and several key saves to keep them in it. That's about you can expect from him on most nights until the team defense tightens up.
No idea why he's under such scrutiny when the team is still fairly sloppy out there at times.
Going to take more than a few games for that to sort itself out.NEELY wrote:
