You might have to offer a lot to outbid the serious interest from other teams. People were pissed when they saw what we gave up for Turris. If we land ROR I think people will be a little shocked at the price.

However I think we need to seize the opportunity. Spezza has 2 years left and he might blow his back out again next year and we'll be in the same place as this year.

As for his contract demands, I suspect he wants out, Turris wanted the same amount but later admitted it wasn't about the money and he simply made an outrageous demand to force a trade.

Well they supposedly were offering him up for Nash so he's not "untradeable". I think Noesen will be the best player from that draft for us.

Not sure where Ceci's learning curve lies, it's been a weird year for him and I have no idea what Ottawa's management really thinks about him. If he made the team out of camp I wouldn't be surprised. If he didn't crack the roster for 2 more seasons I wouldn't be surprised.

His defense needs to be a lot better. I think he starts in the AHL.
