Seeing the way Anderson operates in the net, the communication, the confidence, Lehner can learn a lot just by watching over the next few years. Anderson could very well have 4 or 5 really great season left in him at this point as well so it's not like he couldn't be the goaltender for a Stanley Cup run or two.
I'd re-sign him but no NTC after 2 years. Thing is, can he continue? I get Evan's point -- maybe it will never get higher than this. On the other hand I can't expect Lehner to be ready to be the #1 on a contending team, so learning from a vet for a year or two would be best.
