Honestly, if he keeps it up, do you consider selling high? I mean, only for an unbelievable return. I know this isn't fantasy hocket or NHL13, but if some other team is desperate, and we have Lehner waiting in the wings...

Considering what Halak has done and the return the Habs got for him, I am not sure it's a good idea.
Although in a package it might get interesting.

Maybe after next year, I don't think you can just hand things over to Lehner and Bishop at this point with Anderson playing the way he has. I get what you are saying but if he does on to win the Vezina... what could you possibly get back for him? Top 4 D man and a 1st rounder? Just don't think you should mess with goaltending this solid, it doesn't happen every day.

Seeing the way Anderson operates in the net, the communication, the confidence, Lehner can learn a lot just by watching over the next few years. Anderson could very well have 4 or 5 really great season left in him at this point as well so it's not like he couldn't be the goaltender for a Stanley Cup run or two.

I'd re-sign him but no NTC after 2 years. Thing is, can he continue? I get Evan's point -- maybe it will never get higher than this. On the other hand I can't expect Lehner to be ready to be the #1 on a contending team, so learning from a vet for a year or two would be best.

He just came in like he was in charge of the whole damn team from Game 1. No shrinking violet for sure.
