meh, all this talk of trades and it's not impressing me at all. a 36 year old Cullen? an unproductive setoguchi that can't seem to get it going anymore? hey, what's cheechoo doing these days? seriously, Murray said a while back that he would make trades that kept us young and moving forwards in the long run. both those are not doing that.

Maybe bust is a strong word but when I see trade proposals lime bishop + puempel for Brassard, it boggles my mind. There is no way in hell Brassard is worth that much in a trade. For a guy perennially available, I cant exactly label him a stud. He's serviceable and He's an excellent 3rd liner on a good team in my books.

I would much much rather get Cullen.

Cullen would be a great fit for any time of the season. I still think Murray needs to wait things out until the end of Feb and see where they are at, no point in giving up assets for rentals if they are not a playoff team.

That he needs experience and hopefully the work they do in practice and what he has learned in games will help him improve. This is why I said bringing in a guy like Cullen could be valuable.

Cullen didn't want to resign with us and chose to go home to Minnesota. Don't think that's gonna happen.

Sens will win this one 1-0 or 2-1 if they do indeed win. Maybe they get an empty netter too but I don't think there is a chance they can get more than 2 past the Sabres tonight. I stand to be corrected though and hope I am wrong.
