Seeing the way Anderson operates in the net, the communication, the confidence, Lehner can learn a lot just by watching over the next few years. Anderson could very well have 4 or 5 really great season left in him at this point as well so it's not like he couldn't be the goaltender for a Stanley Cup run or two.

He just came in like he was in charge of the whole damn team from Game 1. No shrinking violet for sure.

That first game was sweet.

Would you try and make a trade for Wiznewski? His contract is a little out of this world but he's probably a really solid fit behind Karlsson and he's playing great hockey.

They need to sign someone to get to the floor next year anyways and he would slip right into a position behind Karlsson, work the 2nd unit PP, and can work the PK. IMO, that's a perfect fit because he would slid into his true role and a #4 guy. Gives Ceci time to develop as well and maybe slid into the 6 role if he proves he can play in the NHL next year (think he needs at least a season in the AHL IMO). Give up Weircioch in a deal for him without question and probably a guy like Prince.

They need to make some serious moves next year or as early as this year.

Also, take this for what it's worth but Perry does have family in the Ottawa area and is 100% considering playing here next year. Heard that from a little birdy but take it with a big grain of salt. All that said bringing him in makes so much sense and they have s much cap room. He's Murray's guy as well.

Meh, he's a dirty player and other team hates him... Murray might take a look. Not sure he would touch that contract tho.

Maybe, would rather have Wiz though. Pretty ideal player and plays a very complete game to compliment Karlsson. Losing Gonchar you would need a LH shot on the point on the PP though. Cowen might have to take a step in that aspect.

I figure Columbus might need him as we'll, they don't have much resembling defence over there. Maybe try and get Savard or Moore from them instead.

Not sure but Columbus looks like a better team without Nash at this point. They might go for a prospect for player/contract deal, not sure. All depends I guess. Just bored and spit ballin.

Yeah we need a RH Dman until Ceci is ready for sure.

Colorado is apparently looking to deal a defenceman for a forward, not sure what they have though.
