He takes too many shifts off and he'll be lucky to be playing on the 4th line with MacLean in charge though. I guess it'll be with Alfredsson, but I'd much rather Silfverberg there. I guess 3 RH players on one line doesn't really do it with Turris, Alfie and Silf.

Really, really interested to see how Latendresse (and Silf) handle this. Huge opportunity obviously.

You just need a guy who will come in as the 6th, 7th D man, not complain, block a shot, kill a penalty when asked. That's all. That's what Huskins will do.

Yeah, Czecg league, but he can play in the NHL this year. He's not amazing but he is huge, cna hit, and has a booming shot (obviously doesn't use it/go in alot though).

It said in the paper that his agent contacted the Sens already.

I would take him over Huskins for sure and yes, he has an absolute bomb of a shot. That would be a good fit IMO.

I don't really know if I believe anything that comes out of the Ottawa papers, but if that's true I hope Murray signs him. That said...he might be looking for two years and we might not be prepared to offer that.

There's a rumour that the Canes are willing to deal a D-man - perhaps even Pitkanen, that would be a nice fit - if this price is right.

Yes, but they will not trade McBain. Pitkanen is more logical.

Yah, I don't see any reason why they would trade McBain but if you were to go after 1 guy, that would be it.
