It's pretty obvious Ottawa should be using a goaltender to make a move for a D man at this point too.

Then trade Bishop+ for a good player, the onus is on Murray. He should get 'er done. If the fish ain't biting, re-assess in the summer, that's all I can say right now.
Nobody wanted Bishop when we got him at the deadline last year. I doubt much has changed, he is still unproven in the NHL.
If he plays well in the NHL this year, that would change.

Bishop's value will never be at its highest in Ottawa because he will never be the #1. People know he has that potential. I could make a case for both Anderson or Bishop being the guy that should be traded, both for and against and be convinced of either argument but Lehner is the guy everyone wants up in Ottawa. My view has changed a little thinking it over because Anderson is a guy that could come in and pick up the pieces on any given night if Lehner fumbles a little... Bishop maybe not.
Again, great problem to have. The thing that shouldn't be done is moving Bishop (within this season) for anything but a roster player that will help now and for the next 2 or 3 season. Making a trade for the sake of making a trade is never a good idea unless they 100% need to get Lehner in the net in Ottawa which could be the case.

And he will not take shifts off with Turris and Alfredsson. He might with Spezza though

Speaking of UFAs, Buffalo's thinking about re-signing Jochen Hecht, Sens are eyeing Kent Huskins, and Eric Fehr will get plenty of attention
Interesting suggestion
