Olympic tennis marathon going on between Raonic and Tsonga. 19-19 in the 3rd and final set. Wow.

Not anymore. What a heartbreaker for Milos Sad

25-23 in the third. Not Isner-Mahut, but impressive still. Raonic is going to be a force within a couple of years.

Isn't he the guy who loves Big Macs and bongs?

And Gold Medals.

Water polo is the hardest sport on the planet. No way in hell I could ever do what they do, none. Don't want to either but it is damn impressive.

I just gotta say I feel lucky to live in Canada and get great Olympic coverage (which is live).

My wife is American and we watch NBC for laughs and it's downright embarrassing how bad it is. Pretty much everything is tape delayed with ignorant homer announcers.

Silver this morning for the Men's 8 Rowing. Gold was hoped for, but well done!

Winter Olympics are Canada's game.

That doesn't mean we should mail it in during the Summer Games.

Does it mean we are? I never said that, did I?

What I implied was that we are stronger as a nation in the winter olympics.

I meant to say just because we're a Winter Sports nation doesn't mean we can't push forward and improve in the Summer Games, even though most of the funding goes toward the winter sports.

Lots of countries are good at both, no reason for Canada to have a huge disparity between Winter and Summer.

In Beijing it took us a week to get a medal, we already got 5 in 5 days.

We'll have to wait until the final total but so far we're doing better. We had 10 4th place finishes in Beijing as well so I'd say Canada is a little bit underrated in how competitive we are.

Fractions of a second determine if you get a medal or not in some sports, it's easy to forget just how hard it is to medal and how good these athletes from around the world are.

If we match or exceed the count in Beijing I'd be OK with that.

It's the subjective voting sports though - like gymnastics, diving, etc. It's just a persons opinion, bias or professional judgement that determines winner.

Eight badminton players were disqualified from the Olympics yesterday for match fixing. They represented South Korea (on two separate teams), China, and Indonesia. Disgraceful:
