Its annoying because he is well respected by Dobber and co. I called him out once but was ripped apart because he has been going through some things, apparently. Doesn't explain why you have to act like a Richard on another board and use multiple aliases.

It wouldn't surprise me if Notch has several aliases that all say "great point" or "I totally agree" to everything Notch says over there.

I completely concur.

I think I look at the prospects by position and hope one will end up being at the top of that position. So Lehner I hope becomes an elite, franchise goalie. I can't see Zibanejad becoming a Forsberg-type player. I'm hesitant with NCAA players, since they take a long time to get to the NHL and a lot of them, especially the undrafted ones, become nothing more than 13th forwards or 7th d-men.

Da Costa is really being forgotten. He wasn't NHL ready last year and probably won't be this year but he's a kid that has that high end talent level that can and IMO will produce some good seasons in the NHL.

His vision is great, fantastic shot, good hands, not the best skater but he gets to where he needs to be. His defensive game last year was awful, couldn't trust him and he needs to get a lot stronger. All that will come with time.

For a player who had as little development as you can get for the most part he's done well. He has gotten by on natural skill and talent and if the Sens are committed to developing him as a player, he is a guy that will have some really good seasons in Ottawa.

IMO he will be Ottawa's 3rd line center when they are pushing for the cup.

I don't hate him by any means, but I think I have a tough time even putting him in our top-ten prospects. That could speak to their depth of our prospect pool more than any potential issues with SDC.

Da Costa 3rd line centre when the Sena are pushing for a Cup? Can't see that AT ALL. Smith is much better suited for a third line role. I think they are struggling if Da Costa is their 3rd line centre.

I think he's going to be a 45-60 point player in 3 or 4 years time. I like him a lot as a prospect and he showed a lot of offensive potential when from his first game in the NHL. A lot of other area's to work on that can improve with coaching and training.

His vision really stands out. No question he has deficiencies in just about every area of the game... that you can teach. If he wants to work and learn he should be good.

Yup, I think everything in terms of Da Costa will come down to work ethic. He's the most raw prospect in the entire organization.

Yeah nobody is denying his talent, but he's pretty much a Top 6 or bust. Can't see him as 3rd line centre unless they want to go with 3 scoring lines + 1 shutdown line down the road.
