I went with Silf if only because Lehner will see most of his time in the AHL this coming season. I expect Silf to be on the roster come the first game.

POLL: Which Senators prospect are you most excited about?
NEELY wrote:Amazing the Sens can have this pole and there not be an answer people can really rip on. I can literally make a case for every single player there.

That's a great point. I can see ALL of those guys becoming legit NHLers. Crazy.

I would rip on somebody if they picked JG Pageau or to a lesser extent Mike Hoffman as the prospect they are most excited about. These guys aren't guaranteed NHLers.
Zibanejad should have more votes as he is the #1 prospect on the team in the Sens' eyes (check the Hockey News Future Watch for that) and he has the total package. That's ok though, we have other great prospects as well. He's just getting really underrated and people will start to bring the hype back a bit once rookie camp and preseason plays out.
Zibanejad and Silfverberg are my Top 2 followed by Noesen for excitement factor.

Lehner was 20 on that same list and was the backbone of an AHL Championship team and MVP. You can easily say he's the teams top prospect over Zibanejad. He might just be further away because of the position he plays. If I need to pick one player from that list to start a team up, it's Lehner and INEC.
Like I said, you can make valid points but everyone on that list but Lehner is the player with the "IT" factor on that list. Noesen might have that as well (and I think he does) but it remains to be seen.
shabbs wrote:Exciting times indeed... for me, Zib and Slif are probably at the top of the list. I'm excited to see all of them... Stone, Prince, Noesen...
Lehner's in a tough spot being a goalie... such a hard position when a team has solid depth there... look at what happened to Bishop... and now we have him.
The future is bright Sens fans... the future is bright...

I agree with everything you said. I just like to separate goalies from the players, especially if you already have a solid #1 in place. I am excited for Lehner, but I will be even more excited once he wins a spot in the NHL and gets to push Anderson.
The Sens have him rated as their 2nd best prospect right now.
SpezDispenser wrote:I'm still the most pumped for Lehner. I think he might take a little more time than we thought, but in the end I think he'll be worth it. Can't stress enough what a Championship in the pros means.
I'll go with Lehner, followed by Silfverberg, followed by Zibanejad, followed by Stone.

That's how I role.

But I used a stripper reference. That's an automatic win.wprager wrote:Cap'n Clutch wrote:shabbs wrote:I like stripper pole's.
